Oracle Identity and Access Management (OIAM) 11G R2 PS2 (11.1.2.2.0) Installation & Configuration Overview

This post covers the installation and configuration of the below products

  1. Oracle Identity Manager (OIM)
  2. Oracle Access Manager (OAM)
  3. Oracle Adaptive Access Manager (OAAM)

Process Overview

  1. Review Certification Matrix on Oracle Identity & Access Management 11.1.2.2.0 Certification Matrix
  2. Install JDK 1.6 or 1.7
  3. Install Oracle Database 11.2.0.1.0 or any version as certified 
  4. Run Repository Creation Utility (RCU) 11.1.2.2.0 to create the specified schemas
  5. Install Oracle Weblogic Server 10.3.6
  6. Install Oracle SOA Suite 11.1.1.7.0
  7. Patch Oracle SOA Suite using OPatch utility
  8. Install Oracle Identity and Access Management 11G R2 PS2 (11.1.2.2.0) Software
  9. Configure weblogic domain for Oracle Identity & Access Management by running the configuration wizard
  10. Upgrade the OPSS schema using Patch Set Assistant
  11. Configure the Database Security Store
  12. Start WebLogic Admin Server
  13. Start WebLogic SOA Server
  14. Configure Oracle Identity Manager
  15. Start Oracle Identity Manager Server
